It’s our date on Friday! We decided to try out Marble 8 in KL. I will let the pictures tell you the story.

Starters: We chose Hokkaido scallop and lobster carpaccio. It was new to us, the taste was abit off.. :(

On my plate: Half of Blue-Eyed Cod, 175grams Tenderloin on the bone, Medium Rare.
On my plate: Half of Blue-Eyed Cod, 175grams Tenderloin on the bone, cooked as medium. The fish was very fresh, the beef… I dare not say that this is the best beef I have ever tried. The beef was chewy and dry, took me quite awhile to swallow it.

I had a remarkable grilled wagyu beef in Take by Sushi Saito at St Regis, KL Sentral, it melted-in-my mouth, almost buttery texture all with a very minimal amount of fat. For a moment, I thought I was in heaven. It was incredibly good. Highly recommended, I should cover a blog about that soon.

Dessert Dinner: We were too full to try others dessert. we got one Vanilla gelato with assorted fresh berries for sharing.

My opinion over Marble 8: As I know Marble 8 is a steakhouse, I had set my expectations a bit too high. The dinner turned out to be just okay level. Other than that, it was a pleasant dinner with a stunning view of KLCC, great music, superb service (I must say) and ambience. Will I be back again? Maybe not, it depends.
