Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur requires only 5 minutes walking from the famed Petronas Twin Towers (aka KLCC). It is so strategically located that it has no obstruction to the view of this beauty, tallest building in Malaysia and also known as tallest twin-towers in the World, KLCC. We came to try their fine dining, Mandarin Grill on our Friday date, and here we are 🙂

Summary: It was pleasantly quiet dinner experience. We got a window seat to KLCC view. Blue swimmer crab cake was fine, plump and fresh tasting. However, the main course we ordered was not up to par. The lobster was nice at the first bite, but because it is covered with cheese, it was quite filling after few bites. The beef was just ordinary, it is lucky and smart me that I have chosen the lightest beef among all.
Although, the entire experience in the restaurant, the view, setting, friendly staffs were good, the food was not what I would expect.
